Mom,I am writing this through tears, remembering so many things about my life, as your daughter....you made me the strong woman that I am today, even though that was tough for me some times, I will be forever grateful. You had so much love, for our whole family, and even those who weren't family....I hope I can carry on that trait...
The last couple of days you said to me, "Don't forget me!" That could never happen mom! You live on in all of us! I know you are an angel watching over all of us now.

There was one time Ward, Lil, mom and dad went out to the Elks for dinner and dancing. They got all dressed up and I remember they all looked so nice! Lil was looking sexy and showing all kids of cleavage in a very fitted dress and of course stilettos because it was the 60s. My dad couldn't dance, but mom was a terrific dancer. Ward was giving my poor mom a break and dancing with her while my dad and Lil danced together.

Dad tried to be fancy and swing Lil out, but Lil slipped and slid to the floor. She couldn't get up because the skirt of the dress was so fitted. Mom and Ward danced by and saw my dad standing over her, saying "I don't know where to grab!"

Mom and Ward danced away as thought they didn't know who those two people were.

One of my favorite memories of our parents is when Lil and my mom were sitting at a used furniture place. Mom bought a love seat and was going to have it refurbished. Ward and Wes were going to pick it up, but mom and Lil had to be there to make sure they got the right one and that the store owner released it to the guys.

So mom and Lil are sitting in the car, talking for hours, waiting for the guys to show up. After a couple of hours, they wondered what was taking the guys so long. Then they noticed the love seat was missing. It turns out the guys picked it up about 15 minutes after mom and Lil got there. The ladies never noticed and the guys didn't bother to knock on the car window.

Mom, You brought so much joy to so many people. I know that you made an impression on everyone whose path you crossed because you were so welcoming, warm and fun. So proud to call you my Mom! You and dad raised an awesome, caring, compassionate family and for that I am forever grateful. I miss you terribly but I know you are still watching over us and I will see you again someday! We will always have wonderful memories of Aunt Lil. There was just that something that made her special and fun to be around. When we were children, we were always really excited when we would either make the trip to New Jersey or when the Jersey crew would visit us in Tarentum. It was fun to watch our mom & dad have a blast with Uncle Ward & Aunt Lil, especially when they made those funny lip synching country music videos!

Uncle Ward, our hearts are with you. We love you.

We will miss you dearly Aunt Lil, but you will always be in our hearts!

I'll love and miss you always Lil! I was so very fortunate to have been raised by my mom, who sadly left this earth when I was only 23. Lil took me into her heart and family. She was funny and loving, but strong and direct when needed. You will always have a okand in my heart! Thank you for all you've done for me! RIP Lil, 💜
