Aunt Lib taught me the joy of cooking. She also taught me how to tell a good story and she had some that were unbelievable. If you ever ate with her on new year you had to be careful of the money in the beans. She could grow anything and loved pictures. I can’t remember the color of her wall because there were so many pictures. The best thing about Aunt Lib was not just how she cooked and cleaned but how she treated everyone as her own family. Every baby and child on the hill was hers and she took care of them. She took care of all of us even if it meant she did without. My Libby is what my boys called her. I really liked that. My Libby this painful life is over now enjoy resting in the arms of our Lord. I love you my Libby, we will be eating pancakes from the recipe you taught me today
