Kevin Hardy's Obituary
Kevin Doane Hardy, 68, of Tallahassee, FL, passed away on November 4, 2024, after a short battle with cancer.
Kevin was born on November 29, 1955, to Leland and Marian Hardy in Belle Glade, FL. He served four years in the United States Air Force before completing his AS degree in Welding. Kevin spent most of his life in Orlando, working as a Material Handler at FMC/JBT for 30 years.
In 2018, Kevin retired and moved to Tallahassee, where he enjoyed building WWII models, gardening, bird watching, puzzle building, and woodworking. He enjoyed his hobbies but found his greatest joy in making memories with his grandchildren as their “Gussy.”
Kevin is survived by his wife, Barbara, of 48 years; his children Jeff (Katy) and Jeni (Noel); his grandchildren Zeke, Alexis, Aleah, and Elijah; his brother Keith (Nancy); and sister Cindy.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 7, 2024 at Enders Park Community Center located at 947 Fern Avenue Orlando, FL 32814. Drop by anytime between 1pm and 3:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, an organization he felt strongly about helping.
