Kerry Joseph Nahoom's Obituary
Kerry Joseph Nahoom passed away the evening of August 19, 2022, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee, Florida. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Oakland Cemetery in Tallahassee. Lifesong Funerals & Cremations is assisting with arrangements.
Kerry was born April 10, 1947, in Tallahassee, Florida, to Keream “Babe” and Sue Nahoom. He graduated from Florida State University and Florida State University Law School and was a member of the Kappa Alpha fraternity. He began his legal career in the prestigious position of Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida. He later opened his own private practice firm as a criminal defense attorney.
He enjoyed FSU college football and his parrot Dr. Watson. He was a great storyteller and would liven up a room upon entering.
He is survived by his son Kerry Jr., his ex-wife Karen Corlett McCammon, his sister Janis (Patrick) Williams, and their family.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kristopher Drake Corlett.
