We have fond and funny memories of camping out on the Aucilla River with Kelli back in the day. A bunch of us were camping out on the river and cooking a turkey breast on the smoker. I can't remember if we put it on too late or just forgot to check and make sure it was still smoking, but it wasn't ready until like 4:00a. Most of us had passed out by that time. We here someone holler into the tent...Hey you guys ..the meat is ready! Where's the bread? Nobody was moving so Kelli decides she's going to try and steal Calvin's sheet away because she is getting cold. The next thing we know it's day light and Kelly is hollering in a scratchy voice that she came here with so many lighters and all she has is MATCHES!!! You hear me MATCHES!!! She was hollering so much about it one guy got in his vehicle and just left! He wasn't used to hanging around Kelli. Andy one of our other friends out there re-enacted the scene with Susan's daughter Rachel's barbie dolls she had brought out there. It was hilarious! If you were there you knew. Just a fun time had by all and a hilarious moment we will never forget about... MATCHES! We are going to miss that Kelli! ❤️
