Kathryn Jennifer Todd 's Obituary
Kathryn Jennifer Todd was born in Tallahassee, FL on January 30, 1969. She entered Heaven’s gates on May 14, 2017.
Jennifer was a former wildlife rehabilitator and opened her home to all injured, abandoned, and unloved animals. She had a special affinity for horses and was a talented equestrian in her youth.
Jennifer loved to sing; some of her favorite memories were times she and her family would be on a road trip with the windows down breaking out into harmonized sing-alongs. She was also an avid reader, artist, and wordsmith. She enjoyed writing poems, songs, and short stories and held aspirations of illustrating and publishing children’s books.
Jennifer had an unwavering faith in God and Spirit. She found her connection with God while spending time in nature. She had a deep appreciation for the natural world and always found magic in God’s creation. She welcomed everyone she met with open arms and saw each person she met as a new friend. She adored music, and she surrounded herself with people who shared that love. She also loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor. Jennifer was a passionate soul with a strong will.
Jennifer is survived by her daughter, Salem Rhianne Tennyson, her mother, Dorothy Ann Todd, her father, Wayne W. Todd, Jr., and her sister, Julie Todd. She also had a large extended family that cared for her very deeply. Jennifer was, is, and always will be immensely loved.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held 2:30 PM on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 1689 Old St. Augustine Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32301. A reception will follow on the grounds.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to an educational fund for her daughter, Salem. Donations may be made at https://www.youcaring.com/kathrynjennifertodd-825341. PLEASE DO NOT SEND FLOWERS
