First of all I'd like to extend my sympathy to the entire family and hope there is proper time for you to grieve as needed. I met Karl back in high school and even lived with him soon after before I joined the Navy.

I'm selective of my friends and Karl was one of them. Years later and even recently we have been back in touch through social media. It was such a pleasure to know him and am glad I at least was able to get back together after so many years. We had many of the same memories and views on stuff even after all these years and I'll truly miss him.

I have known Karl for just a few years, we always talked when I came into the office, we didn't always agree on things but had a good time discussing them. I always knew that if I needed help with something Karl would help. I miss him every time I go to the office now. He was looking forward to watching me harvest honey from my bees this year, I will think of him as i do it. I miss you buddy, you are not forgotten.
