Karen Evans McAneny's Obituary
Karen Evans McAneny passed away on November 13, 2018 at the age of 61 years from an extended illness.
Karen is survived by the love of life, her husband Robert (Bob) McAneny, and her dog Bella and cat Lucky. She will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Geraldine (Geri) Marks and dad Robert (Bobby) Marks, her grandmother, Claudine Marks, her sisters, Janice Dominello, Deana Jones, and Melinda Noorbehesht (Kourosh) and step brothers Terry (Shirley) Marks, Steve (Tammy) Marks, and Dwayne (Linda) Marks. Her sister-in-law Patricia (Joe) Hindy, and brother-in-law Laird (Mimi) McAneny. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, Jessie Freeman, Kassie Jones, Sophia Dominello, Angelina Noorbehesht, Nicole Aryana Noorbehesht and nephews Joel Drake, and Tyler Noorbehesht. Karen was preceded in death by her father Harlon Evans, her brother Robert Tyrone Evans and her maternal grandparents, Ola Mae and Ivan Elmore. She will be greatly missed by her aunts, uncles and many cousins and many, many friends.
Karen graduated from Blountstown High School and she retired from the Florida Department of Education with 35 years of service. She loved to travel and read and most of all she loved her weekly shopping trips with her mother since her retirement. Everyone will agree that Karen was a beautiful, loving, kind person.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 19th, 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Lifesong Funeral Home in Quincy, Florida.
