Judith Parramore 's Obituary
Judith Mary Perez Parramore, 78, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018 at the Big Bend Hospice House in Tallahassee, Florida. She was born December 8, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She moved to Quincy, Florida in 1962 with her husband Robert Rainey Parramore. She retired from the Gadsden County School System June 8, 2005 where she worked as the secretary for James A. Shanks and East Gadsden High School. Judith was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Quincy, Florida where she was a member of the women’s guild and had been the longtime music director. Her love of music and theater lead her to be an early participant in the Quincy Music Theater.
Judith is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert Rainey Parramore of Quincy, Florida. She is also survived by two sisters: Rita Curtis (Harry), Rosalie Perez. Judith is also survived by six children; James Parramore (Jessie), Jeanne Murphy (Don), Jacqueline Ayers (Bryan), Joel Parramore (Terri), Jonathan Parramore (Heather), Jennifer Skipper (Jamie). She was a loving grandmother to her fifteen grandchildren (Makayla, Morgan, Joshua, Brandon, Dylan, Steven, Amandaa, Noah, Reece, Ella Grace, Jenna, Gabriel, Katie, Christina and Emily).
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 12th from 5-7, at Lifesong Funeral Home-20 S. Duval Street, Quincy, Florida. Praying of the Rosary will follow at 6:30. A Celebration Mass will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Quincy, Florida on Friday, April 13th at 11:00a.m. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Big Bend Hospice.
