Joyce Kathleen Harris was born August 3, 1960 in Quincy, Florida to Eunice Harris and the late Rayfield Harris. She departed this life on July 3, 2023. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kedra Lockwood.
She accepted Christ at an early age.
She was a native of Quincy, Florida. She graduated from James A. Shanks High School in 1978. She received her Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in 2012.
She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Dereko Lockwood, Tallahassee, Florida; mother, Eunice Harris, Quincy, Florida; seven grandchildren, Deion Washington, Tallahassee, Florida; Alexia Harris, Tallahassee, Florida; De’Auna Pollock, Atlanta, Georgia; Dejuan Peterson; Tallahassee, Florida; Javia Mapps; Jamia Mapps, Quincy, Florida and Laziyah Williams, Jacksonville, Florida; four sisters, Margaret Southhall, Tampa, Florida; Shelia Harris; Barbara Ivey (Authur), Quincy, Florida; Martha Dixie (Allen), Jacksonville, Florida; four brothers, John Harris, Morris Harris, Quincy, Florida; Curtis Harris (Trinissa), North Carolina; Michael Harris (Katrina), Havana, Florida and a host of nieces and nephews. She also have a host of other family and friends including the Tillman Quarter Community.
