Joyce Franklin's Obituary
Joyce Franklin, 77, passed away February 24, 2025, at Miracle Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Ms. Franklin was born July 22, 1947, in Kerrville, Texas to James Alford and Ella Louise Taylor Deal. She was employed as a secretary for the Florida Department of Agriculture.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Herbert (Bert) Allen; husbands, Herbert Allen and Joe Franklin; partners, Charles Gainey and Joe Williams and a brother, Jerry Deal.
Ms. Franklin is survived by her daughters, Brenda Allen (Timmy Bailey) and JoAnna Cruz; a sister, Jacque Steedman (David); a brother, James (Jimmy) Deal; grandchildren, Justin Freeman, Jamie Bailey (Joey Thompson) and Sydney Allen (Justin Reed); great-grandchildren, Debbie Jones (Hunter), Krista Freeman and Arielle Thompson; great-great grandchildren, Maya and Makenna; step son, Charles Gainey; step grandchildren, Brian Johnson and Lonnie Chambliss.
