I've known Joe for 44 years and the world has lost one of the good guys. He called me "A-1" because that was where the song "Amie" was on the jukebox in his hole-in-the -wall bar: Sloppy Joe's. I filled in for some New Jersey guys that wanted to go home for Christmas BUT I NEVER "WORKED" for him...temporarily filling in over the holidays is NOT the same as being an employee; working for him.
