Josefina Dougnac Thompson's Obituary
Josefina Dougnac Thompson (July 8, 1925) passed away peacefully at Big Bend Hospice on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 6:55 pm. She was surrounded by her family, which was her first love in life. Josefina, “Fina” is survived by her children Dr Bill & Ida Thompson, Ana & Pat Madden and Manuel Zimmerman, her loving grandchildren, Carter & Elyse Thompson and Connor Madden, first cousin Mercedes Dubin, step-sons Dr Ralph Zimmerman (Alice) and Eddie Zimmerman (Laura) and Carlos & Raquel Dougnac (nephew), Laura Dougnac Smograd (niece). A small gathering of friends & family will be invited to celebration of Fina’s life on Sunday, June 10, 12:30 pm, following a mass where Fina’s name will be announced at 10:15 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Donations can be made to Big Bend Hospice, in honor of Josefina Dougnac Thompson, to go towards a plaque in the serenity garden, planted in 2000 by the Capital Medical Society Alliance.
