John Stanley Zimnicki II's Obituary
John Stanley Zimnicki – beloved husband and brother, father of three, and friend to many passed away October 27th , at the age of 60 in his home in Quincy.
John was born on March 20, 1962 in Batavia , New York. He moved to Tallahassee in 1978 as a teenager and worked in the construction industry throughout the panhandle his entire life. He was always the one we went to when we needed to have something built or fixed. He was the only boy in a family of seven girls, and he will be greatly missed.
John is predeceased by his mother Marlene (Pangrazio) Behnke, and his sister Saundra Behnke. He is survived by his wife Sharon (Black) Zimnicki, three daughters: Marlene (Zimnicki) Rose (Jerry Rose), Heather Zimnicki, and Hope Zimnicki, three grandchildren; Jude Rose, Briar Rose, and S'Jay Nguyen, II. He is also survived by his sisters: Sheila Behnke, Collene Reynolds, Lisa Reynolds Hines, Laurie Adams, Joanne Lane (Bob Lane), and Deborah Burger, and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a private ceremony to spread John’s ashes, and a celebration of life announced at a later date.
