JoAnn and George Hamilton were among our first friends when we moved to Quincy in 1975, and we have remained close throughout the years that followed. JoAnn was talented and generous in many ways--we have a linen closet full of beautiful table cloths, napkins, and placemats that she designed, sewed, and sent each year. More than that, though, we remember her for wit and wisdom, laughter and so many good times. Even in her final difficult years of illness, she never lost her winsome way with an arched eyebrow and a twinkle in her eye. George and JoAnn were a perfect match; our hearts are with him now.
JoAnn was funny and fine, so very fine, and surely heaven has received her with a smile.
With love always,
Suzann and John Barr
