Mr. Jeffery Wayne Hicks' Obituary
Mr. Jeffery Wayne Hicks was born in Crawfordville to the late mother Sarah Jane Hall Hicks and father George Thomas.
Jeffery received his formal education in the public schools in Wakulla County.
He worked as a Park Ranger at Wakulla Springs State Park for many many years.
Predeceased in death by seven siblings; Sylvester, Jerelene, Alfred, Shun, Valerie, Constance and Allen.
Survived by wife Tatia Danzy Hicks, six children; Latoya Robinson, Jolonda Hicks, Allen Hicks, George Hicks, Jaleesa Hicks and Jashua Hicks, step-sons; Toddrick Rivers and James Smith, sisters; Ann Lewis (Elijah) and Sandra Timmons and Brother; Winston Hicks, sister in-laws; Jackie Danzy and Sharon Danzy, brother in-law; Robert Danzy, aunts; Mary Thomas Nelson and Betty Thomas Nelson. uncle; Alphonso Thomas. Ten grandchildren; Makia Hawkins, Amari Hicks, Liam Tindale, Noah Tindale, Michael Tindale, Sofia Hicks, Ceelo Hicks, Aisley Hicks, Damaya Robinson and Jazirah Smith, one great grandchild; Jasmine Dureaux, and many more family and friends that loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 24, 2026, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at 465 Wakulla Park Dr. Wakulla Springs, Florida 32327.
