Janet Cahill's Obituary
Janet Cahill, 85, of Tallahassee, Fl, passed away Friday, February 27, 2026. She was born February 11, 1941, in Lafayette, Indiana to the late Leonard & Lela (Durflinger) Hardebeck.
Janet was a 1959 graduate of Earl Park High School. She married, Glenn Edward (Ed) Cahill January 2, 1965, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Kentland, Indiana; he survives.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Jeffrey Cahill (Lynda Dickey), Pike Road, Alabama; grandchildren, Emma, Harper, and Collins Cahill; sisters, Carol (Leonard) Sigo, Mary Louise (Willie) Flook, Maxine (Jim) Wetli, Lynda (Denny) Stepp, Kathy (Steve) Bower and Lori (Mark) Sharon and brothers, Michael (Ann) Hardebeck, Luke (Mary Lou) Hardebeck and Mark Hardebeck. She was preceded in death by brothers, Alan, Paul, Matt and Frank Hardebeck and infant son, Kenneth Edward Cahill.
