James C. Nelson, 90, of Tallahassee, passed away at his home April 21, 2025.
Jim Brown and Detrice McNealy-Brown were the primary caregivers for the past 6 years. A special thanks to Felicia Beasley, special friend; Pastor Freddick & Pamela Davis, best friends; as well as Desmon McNealy; Irish McNealy; Antonio Pinkney Jr. and Melody Mack-Bell, HHA providers.
Pop, you are missed and we will always store you in our hearts. You were the molding to our spirit and now you leave us to be with your family, daughter, Cherri Nelson Brown; grandmother, Bobbie Lee Jones aka Mom; mother, Vera Mae Jones; and a host of family and friends.
