James Andrew Lane Jr.'s Obituary
James Andrew Lane, Jr., 67, of Chattahoochee, passed away on April 20, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones after a battle with cancer.
James was born on April 5, 1956 in Wilmington, Ohio, the son of James Lane, Sr. and Georgia Johnson. In addition to Wilmington, Ohio he also grew up in Blanchester, Ohio and Ruskin, Florida. James served in the U.S. Army and was wounded in Vietnam. After 35 years, he retired from being an independent truck driver. He settled in Chattahoochee around 20 years ago.
James was a proud veteran and a member of Patriot Guard Riders. He enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles. He especially enjoyed riding with Turbo, his companion and pet Chihuahua for the last 4 years. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren.
James was preceded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by Alisha Hostetter (Scott); Nicole Lane; Amy Hastings (Dustin), Jim Stauss; Shane Newman (Sarah) and 12 grandchildren. He has left behind his significant other, Marie Talley.
