James Carroll Beyer 's Obituary
James "Jim" Beyer, age 92, passed away on February 7, 2016. He was born in Mishawaka, IN and lived in Naperville, IL and Clearwater, FL, before moving to Tallahassee, FL in 2006. He was preceded in death by his wife Gloria. He is survived by his son John from Laramie, WY and daughter Emily (Dave) from Tallahassee, FL.
Jim was an Army Air Corp veteran who flew fifty (50) missions in B-24's in New Guinea during WWII. He also served in the Air Force during the Korean War. After his military service, Jim was a commercial airline pilot who logged over 24,000 flight hours until his retirement in 1983. After retirement, Jim enjoyed golfing, swimming, and playing games. He will be missed by his family and by his friends at Westminster Oaks in Tallahassee, FL.
