Jacqueline Carle Melkonian, 94, of Tallahassee, passed away on January 22,
2024. She is survived by her children, Linda Morris & husband Jack, Susan

her 4 wonderful grandchildren and 12 awesome great grandchildren.
She was born in Boston on Sept 24th, 1929, moved to Coral Gables around
1953. She moved to Clearwater in 1973 and then relocated to Belair Beach
before moving to Tallahassee in 2008 to be near family.
Her grandchildren, Adam, Janay, Jennifer and Jamie enjoyed the many visits
to her home in Belair Beach for Thanksgiving and summer vacations. Jack
gave her the nickname Mumsey. She has 12 awesome great grandchildren,
Tyden, John Luke, Ava, Hailey, Liam, Emily, Austin, Carter, Abby Marissa,
Mia, Megan and Lexi.
She enjoyed her life as a Secretary, Real Estate Agent, decorating her home,
shopping for deals at thrift stores and Flea Markets, gardening and loving
her Siamese cats. She was active at Killearn United Methodist Church until
moving into the memory care unit. We plan on seeing her again in heaven.
A celebration of her life will be planned for this summer. Mumsey was loved, will
be remembered and definitely missed.
