Howard Earl Harvell's Obituary
Howard E. Harvell, 81, of Quincy, passed away at his home on October 27, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Dianne Wester.
Howard was born in Tallahassee to Clarence and Jewel Harvell but he was raised by his Mom and Stepdad, R.W. Alcorn. He enjoyed flying his remote control airplanes in his spare time and loved anything outdoors.
Other survivors include his children, Howard E. "Shorty" Harvell, Jr. of California; Deborah Glomb (Steve) of Silver Springs, FL; and Renee Ramirez (Roy) of Tallahassee, FL; three stepchildren, Shay Wester of Chattahoochee; Carin Wester of Chattahoochee; and Maegan Kirkland (Justin) of Quincy; one sister, Bonnie Kay Jobbitt (Jim) of West Palm Beach, FL; eleven grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Glenn Harvell.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 8th at Lifesong Funeral Home Chapel in Quincy. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Shriners Hospital.
