Harold F. Ziegler Jr.'s Obituary
Harold F. Ziegler, Jr., 84, of Havana, passed away on March 24th, 2024.
Harold was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Mr. and Mrs. Harold F. Ziegler on November 8, 1939. He grew from a New Orleans city boy to a Florida cattle baron. Everyone who knew Zeke, heard about his love for New Orleans and his cows at the Crooked Z Ranch.
He is survived by four children, George Ziegler (Kim) of Orlando, FL; Hal Ziegler (Mary Ann) of Orlando; Elizabeth Z. Rudd (Mike) of Havana; and Jeanie Z. Busby (Dusty) of Niceville; grandchildren Katherine (Jarrett), Ashley, Michael Dean, Taylor (Lyndsey), Ryan and Sierra; and great-grandchildren, Brett and Grayson; two sisters, Leah Garrison and Tootie Eckert both of New Orleans; sisters-in-law, Jean Macon (Charlie) of Greensboro and Annette Ford of Quincy; and brother-in-law Jack Ford (Hazel) of Palmetto, FL.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Anita Ford Ziegler; his parents, Harold and Virginia Ziegler; and one sister, May Massey.
The family will receive friends at the home of Mike and Elizabeth Rudd, 51 Kelly Road East, Havana, FL 32333 on Tuesday, March 26th, 2024, from 5-7:00 PM. The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Centenary United Methodist Church in Quincy.
