Gregory Bruce White's Obituary
Gregory Bruce White, age 74, passed away on September 25, 2024 in Tallahassee, FL.
Born on November 14, 1949, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Greg was loved by many. He dedicated his life to helping others as a therapeutic medical massage therapist, touching the lives of many with his skill and generosity.
Greg is survived by his wife, Elizabeth White; his sister, Barbara Gilliam; and brother-in-law, Rick Gilliam. He was a proud father to Lisa Hamilton and her husband, Thomas; Timothy Ganyard and his wife, Megan; and cherished “Papa” to his grandchildren: Savanah Autrey and her husband, Dustin; Alison Hamilton; and Ryan Hamilton. He also leaves behind a great-grandson, Grayson Autrey, and his beloved pup, Koda.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Audrey Groe-White and Edward H. White, and his cherished pup, Cabo.
Greg will be remembered for his larger-than-life personality and ability to make anyone laugh. He never met a stranger and was known for his kind spirit, always willing to lend a hand.
A celebration of Greg’s life will be held at The Salvation Army in Tallahassee on Sunday, October 13th, 2024 at 2:00 PM (2410 Allen Rd). In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
