Gloria Glidewell Oliver's Obituary
Gloria Jean Oliver (formerly Glidewell), age 72, of Crawfordville, FL., passed away peacefully on October 11, 2022. Gloria was born in Richmond, VA., August 8, 1950 and lived in the Richmond area for most of her life.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Paul S. Oliver, Sr., her parents, Audrey Bradley & Raymond A. Glidewell, Sr., and her sister, Sharon. She is survived by her Children: Susan Combs (Evan), Paul S. Oliver, Jr. (Zina) and step-daughter, Beth Corry (Graham), as well as her “younger” Brother, Raymond A. Glidewell, Jr. (BJ), and her fur-baby, Lily. Gloria had 5 grandchildren: Meghan Halstead, Morgan Wilderman, Tylor Sparow, Katie Watts and Logan Corry plus 4 great-grandchildren, Aria, Jamison, Carter & Allie, 3 nephews and a niece: Charlie & William Bruce and Raymond & Nikki Glidewell.
Gloria was an employee of Pleasants Hardware for roughly 30 years which is where she met her husband, Paul, and also her life-long friend, Barbara.
