Gloria Gaye Grantham's Obituary
Gloria Gaye Grantham passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026, in Marianna, Florida. Gaye was born in Quincy, Florida, on November 19, 1949, to Taylor Frederick and Etoile McMichael Grantham, both of whom predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her loving stepfather, Harry E. Burns, Jr.
Gaye was a devout Christian and was a kind and generous soul. She never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew her. She is survived by her sisters, brother and in-laws, Betty Carolyn Smith, Charles Grantham and wife Barbara, and Ena Norton and husband Bill. She is also survived by 7 nieces and nephews, 11 great nieces and nephews, and many beloved cousins and friends.
Our thanks and gratitude to all the caregivers Gaye had throughout her years at Sunland Center in Marianna.
The family will hold a private service. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to The Special Olympics Florida.
Although our hearts are shattered, we find comfort knowing she is happy and at peace.
