Gloria Cash's Obituary
Gloria Marie Cash was born in Rhode Island on November 1, 1959. She was the second born out of 8 brothers and sisters. Her parents were Marion Cash and Gloria DeRosa. She passed away on February 20, 2021 from heart complications.
In 1980 she had her first child Misty Marie Mathis; two years later she had April Dawn Emmett. Krystal Nicole Emmet was born 4 years later and then Timmy Dewayne Tarpley was born two years after that. After she had her children, nothing meant more to her than them until she was blessed with 10 grandchildren: Solomon, Madison, Salem, Mason, Makiya, Jessie, Michael, Jaylen, Kyle and Nadia. She was loved dearly by all her kids and grandkids. Gloria was raised by her dad, Marion. Marion was a preacher, and she and her sisters used to sing in the church. They loved it. Debbie coached her and Vicki to get the highs and lows just right. They sang this one song acapella, Three Old Rusty Nails. I’m sure the angels in heaven enjoyed that one. She enjoyed going to the beach with her sisters as well. Gloria was a very faithful woman; she believed in God and tried her best to do the right things in life. She enjoyed spending time with her kids as much as she could. She loved seafood and was a very honest woman who had the kindest heart. She will be missed by many. “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
