Ms. Gladys Lee Stinson's Obituary
Ms. Gladys Stinson, 98, of Tallahassee, passed away April 2, 2024 at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare.
She was born on December 31, 1925 in Kenansville, Florida to George and Lottie Davis Baisden. Ms. Stinson had been a Tallahassee resident for sixty-three years and was a faithful member of Capital Heights Baptist Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, William M. Stinson and several siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Denise Stinson; her son, William G. Stinson; grandchildren, Derek Jason Ruggless, Rachael Leia Bower, Taylor Goff, Lucas Stinson and Ashley Rich; 9 great-grandchildren and her sister, Clara Hunter of Columbus, Georgia.
A memorial service to celebrate Ms. Stinson's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 20th at Capital Heights Baptist Church, 7150 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, FL 32311. Pastor Derrick Burrus will officiate.
