I never got to meet you but I did have the pleasure of spending a lot of time with most of your family. They always spoke highly of you. Your Mom is one Super Lady that loves all of her kids, despite their mistakes. Your family is part of mine. Your brother Chuck and Sister Cheryl always spoke highly of you and love you so much.. I really wished I could have met you. R.I.P. my adopted brother.
I was so blessed to have you in my life for the time we had. Always a silly story, a funny line or being analytical about what was going on in the world. Sometimes to call and have a small argument or to just talk. Diabetes took so much from you. Heaven has gained a beautiful soul. I cannot be selfish, I cannot have regret, I cannot be angry. I can remember you and all the good times. I find myself crying when no one is around. I try not to show it in front of the kids. This just seems so unfair. It was your time. I will miss you dearly my brother. You always bring a smile to your little sisters’ face. I love you and miss you.
I was honored to serve with George in Germany, and can honestly say it was the best assignment!. But, he was much more than a fellow soldier. I was privileged to be able to call him my friend. And though we lost touch for some time, I was blessed once again with the opportunity to re-establish our friendship and it was as if no time had passed. He was kind, warm, always had a corny joke or funny story at the ready, smart, hard working, and truly cared about his friends and family. I'm grateful I had the opportunity to know such a fine man, and was able to tell him how much he meant to me. He was definitely one of a kind. RIP my friend, I love you dearly, you will be missed.
My name is Tyrone Campbell, I was George's supervisor when we were stationed at Rupertsweiler Underground Facilities (RUF) in Germany. I use to call him George MacGyver. George was very handy and would find a way to accomplish anything with limited resources. One of my fondest memory of George is him baking and decorating beautiful and delicious birthday cakes on numerous occasions for my two daughter's. George you are loved and will be missed RIP 🙏
