Dr. Stephan was both psychology professor & "boss" for me at FSU back in 1982. I was his office assistant, scouring through publications for references to circadian rhythms & the pineal glad. While he was always very professional, we laughed a lot about how so many researchers' names matched up with their area of specialty. The funniest one I remember made him blush: I found an article on "nocturnal penile emissions" (I'm sure it had something to do with sleep cycles) by a Dr. Harden Again, he was ALWAYS very professional and I appreciated his quiet wit & kindness. I wish I'd been able to reconnect with him before he passed to let him know how much I enjoyed working with him. My sincerest condolences to his family & friends. Susie Purvis
