Dr Becker touched so many in the veterinary community.
I worked as a tech at the new BRAH that he founded. I didn’t see him much but his legend was there! I went on to become a vet and after one ski trip with my friend Debbie swankiest and family to killingto. And y first time seeing snow.. I never forgot that trip at age 17 so went on to marry a ski bum from Berekely in the 60’s and my ski passion grew into 10 years actually teaching skiing at Deer Valley in Utah before moving to Sooutbern California to start a family.
I actually taught Dr Deriso’s grand daughter to ski while Tray and his family vacationed there on the very week that Dr Thorpe Deriso. Died .
Both Dr Deriso. And Becker live on forever in many peoples lives - some of us vets that followed in his great footsteps and gratitude from all the countless pets we save in our work ... some inspired forever by the legend of a man that they don’t make anything like any more. Truly an innovator and influencer who was smart, caring, loving, a great and respected me for and friend.
The world would t be the same had he not been present here. Not many can truly say this!
Forever in our gratitude Dr Becker!
