Franklin C. Blow

Donna, Virginia and all! It was with sadness that I learned Frank had passed away. I have many memories of him at the Monticello property that sported the huge pond, the huge swing, the many "treasures" we found on the old site that had many antique bottles etc on it. I recall the Thanksgivings there, in the yard, Mema and Granddaddy serving us what I later learned to be "Boston Coffee" , hot milk with enough coffee to change the color of the milk, and a load of sugar. Donna and I had a great time playing around the cattle fencing, going to the pool, and trying to keep up with Frank and Windy! None of us had concerns greater than when Mema would call us in for lunch, and where we might find a great hiding place on all of that open land, and of course, Granddaddy sitting on the front porch, Bible in his lap, snoozing. I loved you all, love you still, and regret that our reunions are at funerals, but grateful that we have that with all of us living in scattered locations. What a JOY it was to get to spend a few days each week with your Mother and my Mother at the Y... where they could relive the days of having babies at the same time, the days of us running, playing, singing and full of happy! Know you are loved, and wished comfort in your loss, today and always.
