Florence Anne Humphrey's Obituary
Florence Anne Humphrey, 71, of Tallahassee, Florida, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 12, 2022. Anne was born in Quincy, Florida, on January 23, 1951, to William James and Florence Forst Humphrey. She lived her entire childhood in Chattahoochee, Florida and graduated from Chattahoochee High School. Anne received a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Florida State University April 27, 1985. She spent her entire adult career working as a social worker.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers, William J. Humphrey Jr., Richard A. Humphrey and Donald E. Humphrey; and her very close friend Jorie McAlexander.
She is survived by one brother, Joseph F. Humphrey and wife Dianne of Tallahassee, Florida; 2 sister in laws; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Anne was a previous member of the Chattahoochee Methodist Church and subsequently a member of St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Tallahassee, Florida.
