Myrtle Jones
I have many wonderful memories of Faye Callaway. We have been friends for nearly 50 years. We first met at the lake Jackson United Methodist Church. Faye and Aaron and their children attended and my husband, Harris Jones, was their pastor.
We had boys who were close in age and enjoyed playing and doing boy things together. Randy McCoy, a cousin lived next door.
The Callaway’s home and front porch were always a welcoming place for everyone. As a family we enjoyed many delicious meals around their dining room table with lots of laughter and love.
Since Faye and I were almost the same age, we didn’t get to see each other as much in later years. But I know where to find her, and I am headed for that same happy eternal home and we will praise our Lord forever.
