Farnum Miley 's Obituary
Farnum Moore Miley, Sr. passed away on February 28, 2019 in Tallahassee, FL.
Farnum was Born July 5, 1948 in Spartanburg, SC to William Folk Miley and Elizabeth Moore Miley. He graduated from Spartanburg High School and Gordon Military Academy in Barnesville, GA. He received a B.S. Degree in Business from Georgia Southwestern College and was a member of Pi Kappa Phi social fraternity. From 1970 – 1974 he served with honors in the United States Navy. He was a Senior Vice-President Executive for Maybelline, Revlon, and Almay Cosmetics and was President of Rita-Ann Cosmetics.
He is survived by a son Farnum M. Miley, Jr. (Carla), and granddaughter Carleigh Catherine Miley of Ailey, GA; a daughter Lelia Maryanne Lancaster (Anthony) and granddaughters Miley Rose Lancaster and Lily Anne Lancaster of Tallahassee, FL; brother, William Folk Miley (Janis) of Jacksonville Beach, FL; two nieces, Elizabeth Miley Saemisch (Scott) of Dacula, GA and Leslie Chaplin (Pete) of Columbia, SC.
Memorial Services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 16 at Lifesong Funeral Home, 20 South Duval St., Quincy, FL 32351. To celebrate Farnum's love of flying a scattering ceremony is tentatively scheduled following the service at the Quincy Airport.
