Jack Campbell
Technically, Marlene and I were first cousins, but no older sister and younger brother were ever more close than we were as kids. It's a sweet memory, one I have cheristed all these many years. Over those years, our lives took very different paths, and mostly at great distances apart, but that connection between us never faded. She loved me without reservation, without qualification. And I loved her the same way. It was just that simple...and beautiful.
