Donald E. Hodge's Obituary
Donald E. Hodge, 75 passed away April 6, 2012 at his home in Greensboro, FL. Don was a native of Canton, OH. and had lived in this area since 1973. He retired after 25 years with Talquin Electric Company, was a member of First Baptist Church of Greensboro and a veteran of the United States Army. He was a “Chevy Man” and he loved restoring and showing old Chevys. Don was an avid Seminole fan, he loved to travel and most of all he loved his family. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Loretta Hodge of Greensboro. His children, Donald Hodge of Navarre, OH. Jeffrey Hodge and Kenneth Hodge both of Greensboro. Two sisters, Sally Spitale (Mauro) and Nancy Bailey (Dave) all of Ohio. Grandchildren, Dawn, Ethan, Bryan Michael, Joshua and Cody. One great granddaughter, Julienna, and two special ex-daughters-in-laws, Kim Slade and Rise White. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Mary Hodge, his sister, Peggy Sisterhen and a brother, Larry Hodge. The family will receive friends, Sunday, April 8, 2012, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, at the First Baptist Church of Greensboro. A memorial service will be held Monday, April 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM, at First Baptist Church of Greensboro. Memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd. Tallahassee, and FL. 32308.
