David Eugene Pendleton's Obituary
David E. Pendleton, 83, of Havana, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Patricia Pendleton.
Dave was born in Shelbyville, Indiana and moved from Venice, FL to Tallahassee in 1981. He was Past President of the Venice Lions Club and a licensed funeral director for 58 years. He also helped many families through the years memorialize their loved ones through his monument company, Pendleton Monuments. He was a member of Seminole Baptist Church in Tallahassee.
Other survivors include his children, Shannon R. Pendleton (Mark Teuton); Shelley L. Rutkauski (Scott); and Nichole Pendleton Fernandez (Jonathan); his brother, Larry D. Pendleton (Amber); niece, Karissa Pendleton; four grandchildren and numerous cousins.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 6th, 2023 at Seminole Baptist Church in Tallahassee. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Dave will be entombed at MeadowWood Memorial Park on Timberlane Rd. immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gideons International through gideons.org/donate or to a favorite charity. Tholley and Sarah Taylor are assisting the family with arrangements.
