David Alan Love's Obituary
David Alan Love, 52, of Tallahassee, FL passed away January 12, 2023. David was an adventurous soul who never met a stranger. He was always the life of the party and never missed a good time. David was an eternal optimist and ALWAYS saw the silver lining to every cloud. His loves were his children, his dogs, his family, and all things outdoors. David enjoyed dancing, mountain biking, kayaking, snow boarding, hiking, camping, skydiving…the list is endless. He never met a risk he wouldn’t take, a joke he wouldn’t tell, or a challenge he wouldn’t accept. His infectious dimpled smile will be missed by so many. David loved life and brightened every room he entered, Tallahassee will be a bit dimmer without him. David was born in Danville, IL on May 19, 1970 to Sharon and Ira Gene Love Sr. and spent most of his life as a Tallahassee resident.
David is survived by his children Mara, Chase and Madelyn, life and business partner (Seven Hills Pool Service) Mary McKnight-Cantey and son Aidan, parents Sharon and Ira Gene Love Sr., sisters Diana Daniels and Deborah (David) Lollie, brother Ira Gene (Nina) Love Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. He was predeceased by I. G. and Lena Love, paternal grandparents, and William Alfred and Thelma Lovins, maternal grandparents.
Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at the Miccosukee Land Co-Op 9601 Miccosukee Road on January 21, 2023 at 1PM
