David Boyce Cash Jr.'s Obituary
David Boyce Cash, Jr. passed away Tuesday evening, April 6th, with his wife and daughter by his side.
David was a graduate of Leon High School and Florida State University and was a Korean War veteran. He had a successful career as a stockbroker and was a member of the Hemphill Group at Merrill Lynch with Dearl Hemphill and John Clark.
David is survived by Chris, his wife of 36 years; a daughter, Shannon Cash-Russell (Bob Russell); two grandchildren, Olivia Holland Russell and Jared Cash Russell; and a sister, Joan Batcho. He’s also survived by five special dogs: Molly, Moose, Lily, Gambino, and the exceptional Edward.
David was predeceased by his parents Gurtice and Boyce Cash and his many beloved dogs: Boris, Bo-Bo, Oliver, Spikey, Sammy, Cody, Jackson, and Henry.
Pursuant to Daddy’s wishes, we will not be holding a memorial service, and Chris and I will scatter his ashes when the time is right.
His girls will always love and miss him.
