Daniel James Tromly's Obituary
Daniel James Tromly, 58 of Tallahassee, Florida unexpectedly passed away at home on
March 13, 2023.
Daniel forever known as Dan was born in Butte, Montana on January 3, 1965. In the late 80’s Dan
decided to move to Tallahassee where he became employed at Sam’s Club. This year he would have celebrate his 36th year with them.
Dan held many titles in his life from Son, Brother, Dad, Grandpa and Beloved Friend. His favorite
titles without a doubt were Dad and Grandpa. Dan was always there for his children and loved
spending time with them. It didn’t matter if they wanted him to build something for them, fix
something that was broken, go to an FSU game or just get together and hang out Dan was there.
He also adored his grandchildren. You could find him at his grandsons baseball game or dancing
around with butterfly wings on with his granddaughter. To see them happy brought so much joy to Dan.
Dan will be missed and remembered by his 3 children, Shelby Tromly (Connor), Brandon Tromly
(Mary Katherine), and Susan Tromly (Zech); Grandchildren, Lucas Turnage, Madi Page Hunt, Olivia
and Karlee Ann Schluck, as well as many lifelong friends. Dan was predeceased in death by his
grandson Austin Connor Hunt.
Please Join us for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm at
Canopy Roads Baptist Church 925 Bannerman Road Tallahassee, Florida 32312. Dan loved the
Seminoles so the family asks that we send him off with lots of Garnet and Gold, so feel free to wear
FSU attire.
