Ginny, I was sorry to hear about Dan's passing. My thoughts are with you and Josh at this difficult time.
My sincere condolences,
Mary Lou Skelley

Danny and Gary Paul Dunn (my husband) were childhood friends, growing up in Clute, Texas.
They were a month apart in age - Danny born 9/22/1947 and Gary 10/28/1947.
Gary had many fond memories of spending time at the Farrar home with Danny, Steve, Mark, and Teresa as well as the parents Luciana and Mr Farrar.
Danny and Gary both graduated from Brazosport High School in Freeport, Texas in 1968.
Gary and I visited Danny and Ginny a few times in Florida where we loved to stay at the beach house and visit on the back porch looking out over the water. Danny and Gary never drank or smoked much while they were sleeping. We did some silly and fun things, like trying on wigs - don't know how that came about! And of course, we could never forget the memorable "hat dance" executed perfectly by Danny!
Ginny, thank you for always being such a gracious hostess and paying attention to make me feel at home since I was a "walk on" and didn't know all the people that you and Danny and Gary knew as friends.
In recent years, Danny and Gary both suffered extreme physical afflictions. Ginny, you have been an excellent caregiver for Danny. And here in Lake Jackson, Texas, I was being the caregiver for Gary. God knew that they would need a lot of care, and God chose you and me to be there for them. Gary passed away on November 24, 2019 and Danny passed away on December 24, 2019 - just a month apart in death, as in their births! We miss them terribly, but are so grateful that they are no longer suffering in their earthly bodies. They are now safe and secure in the presence of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We can be sure that they are buddies in Heaven, dancing a jig and entertaining the others there.
Love you, Ginny!

Danny and I are Godparents to his cousin Janet.
I am very sorry for your loss, but know he is whole again.
Lives life the fullest. His laughter will be missed!
Dan grew up by my brothers house. My brother was married to his dads sister. We played together many days. One day we were all small. He was about 5 years old. I was about 8. He said a rooster crowed with a kekekeke. I told him cockodoodledo. Teased him about that several years as we got older. Many mememories of Dan as we played in Vestul Pates back yard with my niece and nephews and his cousins the Pates. He will be missed. So sorry for your families loss and Dans gain. Hes singing with the angels!♥️♥️♥️ Patsy Pate Mahone
