Dale Spooner, 87, of Tallahassee, passed away on October 2, 2020 in Tallahassee. No local services are planned.

Dale, you will be missed.
October 2, 2020 at 10:08 p.m., you passed away peacefully at the hospice house. These past 5 months have were long and hard, and I'm so glad God allowed me to be by your side to help. COPD put up a hard fight and you held on for as long as you could. Your body was tired and now you are no longer suffering. You told us a week before you passed away, you wanted to be at peace and I pray you are.
You have been wonderful to Grandma for the 22 years y'all were married. She's been in love with you ever since she was 13, but you told her she was too young back then.
You both went your separate ways, got married, had kids and later ended up back together. There was never a night you weren't home with Grandma. You never left her, you were hard working, honest, always provided for her, you loved her and worshipped the ground she walked on. And she knew how much you loved her. We all did.
As I would always say to you...see you later, Dale.
