Constance Mae "Bunky" Rennebu Middaugh's Obituary
Constance Mae "Bunky" Rennebu Middaugh was born in Maine, the youngest of nine children. She was affectionately called Bunky by her family, and Connie by her friends.
She was raised as a Catholic and lived in Maine, graduating from John Bapst High School. After high school, for a time, she trained as a dental hygienist. She married in 1967 and bore 2 children during her marriage; Karl in 1968, who married Sally Bickerstaff in 1992 and Kyle in 1974, who married Brandy Middaugh in 2025. She and her family settled in Pasadena, Maryland until 1986.
Connie moved to Florida in the summer of 1986 to run a jewelry business. When that business closed, she began working in other areas of retail, for which she had a great aptitude. Her proudest achievement was the twenty years she spent as a manager for the jewelry department of Walmart. However, the job she enjoyed most was working at Loveridge Plantation, getting to know the managing family and their guests.
Besides reading and drinking coffee, Connie's favorite pastime was relaxing and having margaritas with her best friend, Donna Johnson.
Connie always had a humorous and cheery disposition and had a way of making everyone around her feel welcome. She will be missed deeply.
Friends and family are invited to remember Connie at a gathering in her memory on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 1 P.M. at the 4th Quarter Bar & Grille, 2033 North Monroe Street, Tallahassee, Florida.
