Christy Conner's Obituary
Cristy Jean Connor, 32, of Ft. Myers, was taken from all who loved her on October 6th, 2022 after suffering a brain injury.
She was born October 30, 1989 in Lakeworth Florida. She was the daughter of Michael B. Conner and Joyce McLain Conner. She graduated from Port St. Lucie high school and studied nursing and business administration at Indian River College in Florida. She lived most of her life in Port St. Lucie, Sarasota, and Siesta Keys Florida and worked as a server/waitress for many establishments including Applebee's and Stonewood Grill.
Christie was a kindred spirit and beacon of light for all who knew her. She truly loved spending time with her family and friends, making it a point to always attend gatherings and bringing her infectious smile and laughter with her wherever she went. Her Passion for riding motorcycles chronicled her life in a spectacular YouTube video titled "Inside the helmet of Cristy Conner."
She was a fearless woman who embraced life and the beauty she found in it. She loved feeling the sun on her face and the wind in her hair, as she rode her motorcycle, scooter, bicycle, kayak or sailboat. She enjoyed traveling the country with her soulmate, Joe Kuchera and was always stopping along the way to take pictures and videos of the most beautiful flowers, sunrises and sunsets, blue skies and waters, and stunning hikes and trails. Those who loved and knew Christie saw life's beauty through her lenses, all so thoughtfully displayed on her Facebook page for the world to enjoy with her. She lived each day like it was her last and always showed random acts of kindness because her heart was so selfless and pure.
She loved and enjoyed all things nature had to offer. She had an amazing green thumb, a flair for crafting and she loved all animals. Kittens held a special place in her heart and she was fondly known as "Momma"to 2 of them in her lifetime, Pooters and Luna.
Left to cherish her memory is her brother Dylan Conner, paternal grandmother Donna Jean Conner, both of Warren Ohio; and her partner with whom she made her home, Joe Kuchera of N. Fort Myers Florida, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael B. Conner (2019) and Joyce Mclain Conner(2019) Paternal grandfather William A. Conner (2021) all of Warren Ohio. Her cats, Pooters and Luna, also preceded her in death.
