Charlotte Mottern Cordell's Obituary
Charlotte Mottern Cordell, 73, passed peacefully on Thursday, April 8th, 2021.
Charlotte is survived by her husband of 42 years, Joe W. Cordell, Jr; three daughters, London Cordell Whittington (Kent), Abby Cordell Smith (Chris) and Amy Cordell Cooksey (Keith), all of Tallahassee; one son, Patrick Claunch (Monica) of Mississippi; one brother, Mike Mottern (Rita) of Niceville; 8 grandchildren, Casey Whittington, Amelia Whittington, Hayden Smith, Sara Kate Smith, Bryson Cooksey, Carolyn Cooksey, Mary Beth Cooksey and Charlotte Kate Claunch; niece, Krista Mottern Campbell (Jack); nephew, Todd Mottern (Amy); and niece, Ashley Mottern. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Mottern.
Charlotte loved spending time in her yard and with family at Alligator Point. She will be missed dearly by all of her family and friends. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Big Bend Hospice in her memory.
