Charles E. Smith 's Obituary
Charles Earl Smith, 76, of Quincy, FL, passed away on Sunday, September 27th, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Helen Metcalf Smith.
Charles was born in Marianna, Florida and served in the U.S. Navy. He retired as a Production Manager at Niagara Wires. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and of the Baptist faith.
Other survivors include three daughters, Lynda Beach (Keith) of Quincy; Lucinda Morgan (Steve) of Crawfordville; and Lisa Taylor (Max) of Tallahassee; one sister, Maedelle Eubanks of Panama City; grandchildren, Chuck and Meredith Beach; Jennifer Holcomb (Tim); Colby Morgan; and Samantha Taylor; great-grandchildren, Bryer, Connor and Eli Blackburn; and Morgan Holcomb; many loving nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Wayne Maxwell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.W. and Willie Smith; sister, Thelma Buckley; and grandson, Eric Blackburn.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00pm, Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the Lifesong Chapel(www.lifesongfunerals.com), 20 S. Duval St., Quincy, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
