Charles R. Patten's Obituary
Charles R. Patten, 75, of Quincy, passed away on August 6, 2021 at the Hospice House in Tallahassee, due to injuries suffered in an automobile accident in December of 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Gerri Patten.
Charles was born in Newark, NJ and moved to Lake Talquin from Tallahassee six years ago. He was baptized as a young boy at the White House United Methodist Church in Newark. He served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran, P.O.W. Charles and Gerri recently joined First United Methodist Church of Chattahoochee. He enjoyed fishing, computers and his beloved dogs.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 13th , at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, at Lifesong of Quincy. A reception will be hosted following the service at Gerri's home, 526 Woodland Ave., Quincy, FL 32351.
