Charles Davidson Boyd's Obituary
Charles Davidson "Charley" Boyd, died peacefully at home on August 20, 2023 after an extended illness.
Charley is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Stephens Boyd; two sons, David Boyd (Janith) and Daniel Boyd (Kelly); one brother, Collis Boyd (Sue); three grandchildren, Nick, Will and Sierra. Other survivors include brother-in-law, Hugh Stephens (Tammy) and sister-in-law, Frances Willis.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 23rd from 5:00 PM -7:00 PM in the sanctuary at First Presbyterian Church in Quincy. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 24th at Old Philadelphia Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Tholley Taylor with Lifesong (www.lifesongfunerals.com or 850/627-1111) is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Quincy, Big Bend Hospice or a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank the caregivers and team from Big Bend Hospice for their wonderful care and attention.
