Celsa Conde Carrion's Obituary
Celsa Conde Carrion was born in San Pedro de la Torre, Galicia, Spain. She immigrated to Caracas, Venezuela as a young woman where she met her husband to be. Together they moved to New York in 1966 where her only child was born. She lived in New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, and Miami. Celsa moved to Tallahassee to live with her daughter in 2016.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Roberto Ramon Carrion, sisters Teresa and Dorinda and her parents Celso Conde and Luzdivina Conde.
She is survived by her daughter Teresa Carrion, her son-in-law Michael Rothenberg and her many dear nieces and nephews, David Conde Alvarez, Josefa Feijoo, Esperanza Rodriguez and Celsa Fernandez. Celsa is also survived by her beloved goddaughter Cynthia Otero, co-mother Lydia Otero and her stepgrandson, Carlos Manuel Cardona Carrion.
Celsa was a dedicated homemaker and mother who loved to garden, cook, knit and take long walks. She will be greatly missed by family, friends and her fluffy little Maltipoo, Bella.
A celebration of life, and a simple graveside ceremony of her ashes to reunite her with her husband, will be held in Miami, Florida at a later date.
